Okie, I will be introduce you to resolve:

pcmanfm (usr/bin/pcmanfm )

pcmanfm is PCMan File Manager is a file manager application developed by Hong Jen Yee from Taiwan which is meant to be replacement for Natilus, Dolphin and Thunar. PCManFM is the standard file manager in LXDE, which is also developed by the same author in conjunction with other developer.

PCManFM's features include:

  • Full GVFS support with seamless access to remote file systems (Able to handle sftp:// dav:// smb:// etc when related back ends of gvfs are installed
  • Thumbnails for pictures
  • Desktop management - show wallpaper and desktop icons
  • Bookmarks
  • Tabbed browsing (Similar to Firefox)
  • Volume management (mount/unmount/eject, reuire gvfs)
  • Drag & Drop support
  • Files can be dragged among tabs
  • Load large directories in reasonable time
  • File association support (Default application)
  • Provides icon view, compact view, detailed list view and thumbnail view
You need to copy pcmanfs to replace to /usr/bin/ to resole for this case. Your Linux operating system don't have pcmanfm then it can't show icon in the Desktop.
