[HOW TO] install Wine on Ubuntu/ Linux Mint/ Debian

Do you need to install notepad++ in ubuntu?

Here I show you how to install notepad++ in ubuntu. What is Wine? Do you know?

Wine is an open source, free and easy-to-use program that enables Linux users to tun some Windows based application on Unix-like operating systems. Wine is a compatibility layer for installing almost all versions of Windows programs.

To install Wine, open the terminall and run the follwing commands one-by-one on the terminal

$sudo apt-get install wine1.4

It can't install, run the following commands:

$sudo apt-get -f install

This command will be installed packages dependencies which Wine is need.

Nowadays, you open the application which you want to install on Ubuntu and open with Wine.
